  • Long Description:
    INT TEHRAN, IRAN
In standupper NBC News Tehran Bureau Chief Ali Arouzi says "Today in Tehran there were fresh protests outside Iran's Parliament despite another stern warning today by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei that he wasn't going to tolerate this. Also state TV had reported today that Neda, the 27-year-old student that was murdered on Saturday night, was murdered by a foreign bullet. State TV was using this as evidence that Iranian security forces hadn't killed her and this was done by outside powers. Also, state TV had mentioned several times today that Western powers, in particular the United States and Great Britain, were trying to orchestrate the unrest that was happening in Iran over the last week. We've also heard reports that Mir Hossein Mousavi's newspaper, The Green Word, was raided last night and 25 of the journalists that work there were arrested."
