    At St. Catherine of Sienna R.C. Church in New York City, a memorial service is held for Diana Sands, a noted black actress. Ms. Sands died suddenly at the age of 39.
    Ms. Sands' body arrives in a hearse, and is carried into the church by six pall bearers. Scores of mourners and onlookers crowd the street in front of the church.
    Stills of Ms. Sands are seen, as the voice of Rev. James Ralph is heard, eulogizing her, from inside the church.
    James Earl Jones, the black actor, tells Dick Schapp, NBC News, that Diana Sands was greatly interested in bringing the truth to the public.
    Shots of the hearse arriving at the church. Pall bearers carry Ms. Sands' coffin inside. Mourners arrive by limousine, and enter the church. Throngs of spectators line up outside.
