In two-way remote interview with Matt Lauer (Today studio), radio talks show host Tom Bauerle, in Buffalo, New York, says that he asked the questions because he wanted answers. Baurerle says he believes that when you look at the American electorate as a whole, at this point, after almost eight years of the lies, half-truths, deceit, deception, and parsing of the Clinton administration, that issues of character, and issues of credibility, are significant to a significant percentage of the American voters. Graphic "Decision 2000: Marist College Poll: Marriage Question" and supers "Fair: Giuliani: 22%; Clinton: 23%", Unfair: Giuliani: 75%; Clinton: 74%" seen. In interview Bauerle says media people think that he's anti-Christ because of the question he asked Mrs. Clinton, says that the letters he has received is mixed and says that the response from people on the street has been very supportive. Bauerle says he wants to see someone ask Hillary Clinton about Juanita Broderick and if she believed if her husband did or did not rape Juanita Broderick. Bauerle says he would ask New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani about marital infidelity and other issues about character. Bauerle says he is a talk show host who has asked very difficult and very tough questions. Bauerle says he enjoyed the exchange he had with Mrs. Clinton and says that under the circumstances Mrs. Clinton handled herself with a fair amount of aplomb, grace under fire, and that he think the public also heard a little bit of the underrated sense of humor of Hillary Clinton and says that he believes that she did reasonably well.
